Rolled Biothane Rope leashes are here! The rope is 1/4" diameter. This is an extremely lightweight leash option and is for smaller dogs up to 30 lbs and dogs that do not pull very much. Each end is secured with two rope clamps (stainless steel and solid brass) and covered with black heat shrink. You can choose black, brass, and silver (solid brass) leash clasps.
 
Preorder colors are the colors I do not yet have in stock. A preorder color will add a little delay to the order but not more than a week.
 
This leash is NOT as strong as the other leashes I make and I do not recommend it for large dogs or pulling/reactive dogs. Always use a safety back up. If having a leash on your dog is more of a formality than a necessity, this leash is great because it is so incredibly light weight, and "barely there".
 
Strength Tests
I had break strength testing performed on these leashes, and the results showed leash failure at 230-280 lbs of pressure. Most sources recommend a leash that is at least 7x stronger than the weight of your dog, so please keep this in mind. Assuming 230 lbs of pressure limits this leash to dogs 30 lbs and under if using 7x the dog's weight as a guide.
