This is for a 1.5" wide collar that steps down to 1" for the martingale chain. This collar is not adjustale and does not have a buckle. It needs to fit over their head. The main color will be the color of the collar, and the accent will be the layer. The martingale chain is stainless steel, and the rest of the hardware is solid brass but in silver or black plate color to match. The collar pictured is tawny and onyx color. The layers will be joined in the back with a single rivet, like the simple style layered collar.
Sizing
The collar is sized including the widest open part of the chain, ie - as if it was not being pulled on. The chain makes up approximately 5" of the total collar size. Measure the widest part of the head, usually including the ears and jaw. The collar size should be 0.5-1" larger than this measurement for an easy fit.
Made with biothane (pvc coated webbing designed to mimic leather without the upkeep of leather), these dog collars are stink-proof, water-proof, and just generally ready for everything your dog will throw at it.
I do not keep large inventories of all of the colors, so at any given time it is possible for a color to become backordered. If this occurs I will inform you of any delays.

Option 1: Measure your dog’s neck using a soft tape measure around the area you like the collar to sit.
Option 2: Use a string if you do not have a soft tape measure, and measure the length of the string.
Option 3: Use a collar that fits them well, unbuckle it and lay it flat, and measure the length from the female end of the buckle to the edge of the fabric (not the other buckle).
